High Holy Day Tickets
Have you purchased your tickets for High Holy Day services? Seats are still available - but don't wait too long. Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on Monday, September 29. The ticket committee is in the main office on Sunday mornings from 10:00am to noon, and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
Rabbi Kass and Rabbi Pomerantz will join together to lead services in the Main Sanctuary, with Cantor Levine at their side. The EMJC Choir will add its voice, too.
There will also be concurrent programs for youngsters. For babies, pre-readers and special learners who are most comfortable in a nurturing setting that encourages exploration, there'll be a music, song and story program at 10:30am in the Herzl Room. Joanne Riel returns to gently guide children through holiday themes in ways that build on their natural curiosity and love of participation.
Youth director Dan Goldberg and education director Audrey Korelstein will oversee youth services. These will be a mix of learning and prayer, in English and Hebrew.
There's a place for all kinds of learners at EMJC, both during the High Holy Days and throughout the year.
