Friends-

Larry Isaacson and I want to thank all of our friends who braved the rain last night to support East Midwood Jewish Center.

Whichever way you voted, by your presence, we know that you always have the best interests of our beloved institution at heart.

For those of you who were not able to attend, we know you would have, if you could.

For the record, the Membership in attendance voted 85-23 in favor of permitting more than one person to occupy the office of President at one time.

Since the constitutional Amendment needed a 2/3 majority to become effective, the initiative passed.
