High Holiday Services 2016Best wishes to you and your family for L’Shanah Tovah U’metukah, a happy, healthy and sweet 5777. We look forward to greeting you at our beloved Shule during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Our services will be conducted as usual by Rabbi Matt Carl, Cantor Sam Levine and Assistant Cantor Aryeh Nussbaum-Cohen in our beautiful Sanctuary.

Everyone must have a ticket either for regular services or children’s services or both. Children through college-age are welcome to attend services at no charge but still require a ticket. Tickets purchased before September 6 are $100 members/$150 non-members; after September 6 the ticket price is raised to $125 members/$175 non-members. For those who have hearing difficulties, when ordering your tickets, please indicate whether you would like to reserve one or more headphone listening devices.

Service dates and times including youth & family services information is listed below. On Yom Kippur the Regency Room on the second floor will be set up as a quiet space to support family members who are attending Sanctuary services. Following Joanne’s and Audrey’s programs, children will relocate to the Regency room for conversation, quiet play and board games. Child under bar/bat mitzvah age will be served a simple lunch.

You can order tickets with a check or credit card via the office. Please call 718.338.3800 or email office@emjc.org for more information. For your convenience, our office will be open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for individual assistance in selecting a seat, from September 6 through September 29 and on Thursday evening, October 6.
