We’re proud to once again be hosting the Israeli Scouts Friendship Caravan.  Many of you attended past performances and you know firsthand that we’re in for a new treat by this current group of talented teenagers from Israel. The Caravan is a select group of ten Israeli Scouts who are entering their senior year in Israeli high schools.  They are joyful emissaries who represent Israel through song, dance, spirit, and impart a bit of education to their all-ages audiences.  All the scouts are comfortable with English and are eager to spend time speaking with the people they meet in the U.S.

We will be gathering in the Regency Room at 6:00pm for Light Refreshments. The performance will begin at 6:30pm and will have you dancing and singing in the Grand Ballroom. Following the show we will join together again for refreshments with the Scouts.

Your dinner RSVP by June 24th is essential. Tickets for a family (up to 2 adults and up to 3 children 12 and under) is $36.00 and an individual ticket is $12.00.  This is also an opportunity for anyone who wishes to contribute as a sponsor for bringing a bit of Israel to our EMJC community.  Sponsors will be recognized at the event and in the EMJC Bulletin.

For those of you who would like a chance to spend even more time getting to know the scouts better, you can open your home as a Host Family by providing a bed and breakfast for a Scout for two nights –June 27 th and June 28th.  There are a few hosting spots left.  Please contact Rachelle Grossman at 917.846.6043 for further information.

Whatever combination of the above activities you choose to attend, you’ll leave humming and dancing your way out of the building.
