NightShul, EMJC’s innovative adult learning program will kick off its newest series on Thursday, March 9 with a series of three lectures on Jews, Quakers, and the Holocaust taught by Professor Ira Zornberg.

Jews, Quakers, and the Holocaust

Presented by retired educator Ira Zornberg, a course on the struggle to save 20,000 children, the important role of the American Friends Service Committee, FDR, Mrs. Roosevelt, members of Congress, and the 1924 Immigration Law. Prof. Zornberg’s book will be available at $10 per copy.

Class begins at 8:00 pm. The fee of $35 for the series (March 9, 16, 23) includes complimentary wine and cheese at 7:00 pm. Drop in for one class for $15. Email nightshul@emjc.org or call the office at 718.338.3800 to reserve your space.
