Join Rabbi Matt Carl in learning and discussion about an aspect of Judaism that is uniquely American, uniquely modern, and we think, perfectly-timed! Although it may seem obvious that American Jews would celebrate Thanksgiving (and do so the way every other American does), this class will explore whether that is so obvious after all. We will look both at the holiday and its traditions (i.e. turkey itself!) in Judaism. $10 for non-members. Pay at door. No need to RSVP. Discussion on both November 9 and November 16.
