“One Day Before We Die”: Jewish Confession from Gratitude to Forgiveness

Join Rabbi Regina Sandler-Phillips on the 19th yahrtzeit of her father, Irving Samuel Phillips z”l, for texts and songs about little-known Jewish traditions of confession, gratitude, and forgiveness in daily life. The 6:30 pm program will be followed by simple refreshments after Rabbi Regina leads evening prayers at 7:30 pm.
Rabbi Regina Sandler-Phillips serves as executive director of WAYS OF PEACE Community Resources, which renews justice and kindness across lines of diversity and throughout the life cycle. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Earth Island Journal, The Forward, The Jewish Week, Tablet Magazine, and in the books Parting Ways and Saying Goodbye to Someone You Love.
