Join us on the night of Saturday, May 19 for our mini-tikkun.

There is a tradition passed down from the kabbalists of Tzefat to study all night long on the first night of Shavuot. The tikkun leil Shavu’ot originates in the idea that the Israelites slept soundly the night before they received the Torah; the tikkun is a corrective to this – we stay awake all night, ready to “witness” revelation in the morning when we read the portion containing the Ten Commandments.

Rabbi Matt Carl and Cantor Sam Levine will each lead a 45-minute session

following services on Saturday night.

Bring your thinking caps, learn some Torah, and eat some cheesecake.

Services are at 7:44 pm.
