On Sunday, May 22 East Midwood Jewish Center participated in The New York Landmarks Conservancy Sacred Sites Open House tour. Visitors came from as far as Manhattan to see the stained glass and decorations of our beautiful sanctuary and learn the history of the building. Co-president and historian Toby Sanchez gave an excellent tour, highlighting the beauty of the building and the rich history of our organization.
