Message From Co-President Randy Grossman

As new co-presidents, Toby Sanchez and I have many people to thank for this honor. First, the Nominating Committee for thinking outside the box to imagine Toby and me as Co-Presidents, and you the congregation for being willing to give us your confidence by voting for us.

We owe a special thanks to the immediate past presidents, Larry Isaacson and Michael Sucher, who swiftly started to help us with the transition, as well as to Sam Ainbinder, Gail Hammerman, Howard Honigman, and Gary Kippel with their offers of support and advice. I didn’t wait to be elected to start asking.

It is our goal to lead with the help and support of the Executive Committee, the Board of Trustees, and of course you, the members of the congregation. Each of us has ideas, talents and abilities that can help us move towards growth and a more secure future for EMJC.

We look forward to working with our dedicated and energetic Executive Director Edith Maiman, Marina Lukina in the office, volunteer bookkeeper Stephanie Kaner, our Educational Direc- tor Audrey Korelstein and of course our indispensable maintenance staff Anderson Waithe, Jacques Almanor, Bernard Jen- kins and Tommie Stephens, who are always helpful, cooperative and friendly.

We plan to have an open door policy which means we are open to all ideas and offers of help. Please take the time to contact us and let us know how you can contribute. Our successes will come from you.
