Tisha b’Av, the national Jewish day of mourning, begins at sundown on Saturday night. We will be using the Saturday evening service link. Following our Shabbat mincha service, we will observe Tisha b’Av through the recitation of ma’ariv, chanting the Book of Eicha (Lamentations), reading kinot (dirges), and singing songs that reflect the mood of the day. If you will be fasting, the fast begins at sunset.

Mincha begins at 8:15 pm.

On Sunday morning at 8:00 am, we will continue our observance. Kinot will be added to the morning service and Eicha will be chanted again.

On Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm, we will conclude our liturgical observance with mincha, including further additions for Tisha b’Av. This will be the usual mincha/maariv evening link.

We hope to see you there.
