Room J opens on Sunday, Sept. 14 2014. It won’t be a typical class day; instead, we’ll welcome in the new school year and the Jewish New Year with a community-wide family event that emphasizes peace and our commitment to take care of our precious planet. All kids and parents are invited to create art and do sign-making in advance of the People’s Climate March. Members of EMJC are joining the September 21st event and we want to support all the marchers. Audrey has planned a bit of a messy art activity, so please don’t dress your kids or yourself in new school clothes.
