What’s New In the Locker Room

Capture1

EMJC took advantage of a free National Grid Program, where their contractor, at no charge, installed low flow showerheads in the locker rooms and low flow faucet aerators were installed on compatible sinks in the school and synagogue buildings. (Note that our older faucets are not compatible with faucet aerators.)  In addition to conserving water these low flow devices will reduce our hot water usage, thereby reducing our gas usage, saving us money and reducing our greenhouse gas emissions.

We hope to continue to reduce our energy usage in the future with additional conservation measures that were recommended in our Free Energy Audit and take advantage of incentives from ConEd, National Grid and/or NYSERDA.
